Rachel Ramalho
Rachel Ramalho is one of the directors of both the Brazilian Zouk Council and the Lambada Council, and a co-owner of Ramalho’s Studio in Rio de Janeiro, a dance school with a strong legacy in the Zouk and Lambada world. With deep roots in both styles, she has played a key role in their preservation, growth, and global reach.
Rachel travels the world teaching and performing, captivating students and audiences with her refined technique, musicality, and emotional expression. She is also a DJ, bringing her deep understanding of the music and dance floor to every set she plays. As a leader, artist, Rachel continues to inspire and elevate the community with her vision, dedication, and love for the art.
Renato Ramalho
Renato Ramalho is the co-founder of Ramalho’s Studio in Rio de Janeiro, a renowned dance school with over 17 years of history, and a key partner of the Ramalho’s Zouk Festival since its inception in 2012. As a master teacher of both Zouk and Lambada, Renato has traveled the world sharing his deep knowledge, contagious energy, and powerful presence, becoming a reference in the global dance community.
Renato is one of the pillars of the Zouk and Lambada community in Dallas, playing a vital role in its development and cultural foundation. His influence, leadership, and commitment have left an undeniable mark on the evolution of these dances worldwide.
João Cabral
João Cabral is one of the pioneers of the Zouk scene in Dallas and a fundamental figure in the growth of the local community. His dedication, warmth, and collaborative spirit have helped build a strong and welcoming dance environment that continues to flourish.
As a talented and versatile DJ, João brings a unique musical identity to every set, blending deep knowledge of Zouk and Lambada with an exceptional sense of connection to the dance floor. He travels across the country and internationally to share his music, energizing events with his passion, creativity, and ability to read the crowd.
